When it comes to selecting an MPFI intake manifold for the small block Chevrolet engine, we love everything about this Holley EFI manifold. First and foremost, this intake manifold is designed from the drawing board as a multi-point fuel injection EFI manifold. It's not just some warmed-over carburetor manifold design with fuel injector bosses added. The injector placement doesn't just spray fuel into the manifold. It angles the injectors toward the intake valves so they are actually spraying into the combustion chamber while the valves are open. The fuel injector ports are cut into the intake so that the fuel merges with the airflow, better maintaining atomization.

While carburetor intake manifolds only use a single-plane design on applications where low-RPM performance can be compromised, no such compromise is required on EFI single-plane manifold. Since the fuel is sprayed into the intake under pressure, rather than being drawn into the intake by vacuum, no performance is compromised using a single-plane manifold in an EFI application. The result is amazingly strong, flat performance across the 2500-7500 RPM range.

The 4150 flange means that this intake manifold can be used with a broad range of MPFI throttle bodies, offering the best combination of selection, performance, and price.
