Which Terminator LS MPFI System Is Right For Me?

Holley has made it easy to get just the right system for your specific requirements. That means you aren't getting some universal-fit kit that requires a bunch of configuration but rather exactly the right system for you. This Is More Expensive than Terminator X. What's The Difference?

You're right--the Terminator LS systems are more expensive than the Terminator X and Terminator X-Max systems for the LS engines. But for all of their similarities these are quite different systems in terms of capability.

Both are intended to be plug-and-play EFI Systems for the GM LS and truck engines. Both offer versions for users needing to control fuel/spark only, or electronic transmission control, or Drive-By-Wire control (or both.) But the Terminator X family is intended to be a more budget-friendly solution and, as a result, gives up some of the more advanced features of the Terminator.

The Terminator systems available on this page feature either Holley's HP ECU (those that do fuel and spark control without transmission or DBW control) or Holley's Dominator ECU (those that do transmission and/or DBW control.) These ECUs have features that make them competitive with the best aftermarket ECUs the industry has to offer.  Plus, the HP and Dominator ECUs in the Terminator LS MPFI Systems have world-renowned hardness features that make them nearly bullet-proof in harsh environments.

Bottom line: If you don't need the extra features, if the battle-ready case and potting are not necessary for the environment you are in, then you might be better off with the Terminator X LS or Terminator X-Max LS.
