Until now, you had to be kidding yourself to think that someday there would be a bolt-on EFI system released to replace the iconic Autolite 1100 carburetor found on most Ford Inline Six engines built between 1963 and 1967. No need to pinch yourself--You're not dreaming. That day has arrived!
Sure, the Sniper Autolite 1100 EFI System is a very niche market as they say. But because it is, that means that Holley could make this beauty less of a one-size-fits-all EFI system and tailor it specifically just for it's original target. Let's look deeper!

Installation
The Sniper Autolite 1100 couldn't be easier to install. No funky adapter plates or linkage adapters. This is made to be a direct bolt-on to the factory manifold in most Ford applications that shipped with this carburetor. The original throttle-rod linkage snaps right in place and there is even a lever to accommodate the kick-down for Ford automatic transmissions. Yes, you will install an O2 sensor and Holley makes that easy with a clamp-on O2 sensor bung (or, weld it in place if you prefer--it works both ways.) Screw in a coolant temperature sensor, wire up power, ground, and your ignition and you've done with the EFI system installation.
Configuration
Think the installation was easy? Then you will really love the configuration! The included 3.5-inch touchscreen display lights up when you first key on the system. Select "Wizards" and be prepared to answer some questions so easy you'll feel like a genius. The Wizard completes the configuration and pre-programs a perfect start-up tune. By starting the engine and driving the tune just gets better with time--without you doing anything other than enjoying yourself.
Fuel System Options
True, that factory mechanical pump is not going to do the trick for your new Sniper EFI system but we've even managed to make that easy. Here are three great options:
- The Master Kit with inline fuel pump continues to be a cost-effective and universal solution. You can choose that when you add the EFI System to your cart, above.
- If you prefer an in-tank pump and have a 65-68 Ford Mustang with a factory fuel tank then you can simply drop in one of these fantastic OE Style Fuel Tank Modules.
- Replacement EFI Fuel Tanks are a great way to go if one is available for your car. These
two are likely going to appeal to Sniper AutoLite 1100 installers.
- Finally, if we've not yet listed your vehicle above but you'd prefer an in-tank fuel pump solution then these Retrofit Fuel Tank Modules let you modify your existing tank to accommodate a fuel pump provided it is between 7.5 and 15 inches deep.
You absolutely will want a Fuel Pressure Gauge. Those who don't install one with their EFI system are invariably the ones who end up needing it. Don't be that guy.
Ignition System Options
Let us be clear: This Sniper Autolite 1100 EFI System will work great with your existing ignition system. It even includes the vacuum fitting that allows you to install the superior Ford Inline Six distributor that went into production in 1968. But if you're ready to go all-in with your Sniper EFI System and control not only fuel but ignition as well, then the Holley HyperSpark Ignition for Ford Inline Six Engine. Specifically designed for the Sniper EFI System, this ignition is available with distributor, ignition box, and coil that come out of the box with plug-and-play compatibility.
Other Options
There are some options that are available with the Sniper EFI System that you may never need.
