Terminator X 4500: They Call It Dominator For A Reason
When Holley, working in conjunction with Ford's Grand National racing program, introduced a new completely new carburetor footprint back in 1969, the name Dominator was selected from thousands of entries to the "Name The Carb Contest". And how accurate that name was. Over 50 years later and now produced by every legitimate racing carburetor manufacturer there is still no real competitor in the four-barrel throttle body market to 4500 carburetors and throttle bodies.
And because the Terminator X family of fuel injection ECU's has features that the hard-core racer longs for, it only makes sense that Holley coupled it with this massive 1440 CFM, four by 2.125-inch barrel behemoth to produce what we believe is currently the most dominating throttle body injection system available today.
Terminator X Throttle Body Injection (TBI) EFI Systems are similar to the original Terminator Stealth EFI Systems but feature the much more budget-friendly Terminator X and Terminator X-Max ECU rather than the HP and Dominator ECUs of the original Terminator EFI Systems.
By adding the Terminator X Stealth to the existing Terminator TBI and Terminator Stealth TBI EFI Systems, Holley has dropped the price of admission to this advanced level of throttle body injection by hundreds of dollars while sacrificing features that the majority of users will never miss. And now that the Terminator X family has added the Stealth 4500 throttle body it is reaching a market (not to mention a performance level) that the standard Terminator TBI family (currently limited to the 4150 throttle body) could never reach.
