Several customers have mentioned that their Holley Sniper EFI System makes strange whistling or "splurping" sounds at mid-throttle when under load. Some think the noise is kind of cool, the rest want to make it go away. If you find yourself with a whistling Sniper EFI System and are in the second group, then customers have had good luck eliminating the noise with a 4-hole spacer. This particular spacer is 1 11/16 is it is an identical match to the Sniper EFI System. Ensure that you have enough hood clearance to add a 1/2-inch spacer. If not, you might want to consider this Sniper EFI Sealing Plate (0.185-inch aluminum) or 1/4-inch 4-hole gasket.
Note that this spacer includes two gaskets for installation! This spacer will require studs that extend at least 1.3 inches above the manifold surface, like this QuickFuel 2-in Stud Kit (PN 37-4QFT).
