After the main ECU power and ground connections to the battery, the second most important wiring consideration is the grounding system. A "dirty" ground will introduce noise into the sensors, causing havoc in your Holley Fuel Injection System. This quick video shows you some down-to-earth grounding techniques (pardon the pun!)
Transcript: We discussed how important it is to run the ECU's main power and ground to the battery. But equally important is proper grounds from the battery and the engine block to the frame and the body. On this vehicle, we have the main battery ground going to the normal stock location on the alternator bracket. We have a star washer, and we know we have a clean surface that's going into. We have a ground cable running from the block over to the frame, and we also have a ground running from the body back to the battery as well.
It's recommended that you use at least one gauge wire to go from the battery to the block, and from the block to the chassis. Then at least a ten gauge wire from the body back to the battery.
